GariKhata is a vehicle expense, maintenance, and insight platform designed for personal car owners. Our Services help you record refuelling, service history, and costs, and (where enabled) provide analytics and smart insights.

- Device & app data: device type, operating system, app version, language, identifiers (where permitted), and crash logs.

- Approximate location (optional): if you allow it, we may collect location signals to support location-based features (e.g., nearby fuel stations). You can disable location anytime in your device settings.

What data is used for AI insights
Typically, your vehicle logs (refuelling, odometer readings, service records, and expense entries) and usage context needed to compute metrics you request.
What we don’t do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your private logs to advertise third-party products to you.
Automated decision-making: AI insights are intended to be informational. They should not be treated as a substitute for professional mechanical advice. You remain in control of decisions regarding repairs, spending, and maintenance actions.
If we use third-party AI service providers to generate insights, we limit the data shared to what is necessary to provide the feature, and we require appropriate safeguards through contractual terms.
7) Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

- Vehicle logs: retained until you delete them or delete your account, unless we must retain certain records for legal reasons.
